Comfortable seating, great service and the best prices! Highly recommended.

Cozy, not too hard to find. Food and drink are great. Make you get a meal here and then enjoy a cigar. The stick prices are high so bring your own. Drapers is around the corner if you need to stock up.

Headed here the other day after a Liga Privada event with DaByrdman and DCsThePeoplesChamp and a couple other friends. Had a great time. Look forward to going back.

Thanks for the update Wade. As soon as it's finished we'll remove the non-smoking tag.

Wade on 1/1/2010 11:59:06 AM
I am hearing January 10th as the completion date for the two smoking rooms. I plan to hold a late January herf (1/26) here at Baileys.

DaByrdman33 on 12/16/2009 6:00:43 PM
They told us on Friday (12/11) that it would take about 3 weeks for them to complete the work required to be in compliance. We'll check back periodically and update the site as we find out more.

Stephen Boyajian on 12/15/2009 3:32:10 PM
Word is that this location was not compliant to surpass the Virginia Smoking Ban. They are currently fixing this however at this time it is non-smoking.

The C4 Cigar Club has a lot of events at Bailey's. The have pool tables, darts, a full menu and a full bar. It's a great place to hang out and enjoy a cigar with friends. The service is frequently below par, something I've learned to accept since it has so many other positives going for it. You will have to chase down a waitress for an empty glass if you go here.

itsme_timd on 12/10/2009 4:00:22 PM
John and the team at Wise Ash are a great bunch, the lounge here is amazing with a huge TV, leather couches and chairs and a poker table as well as lockers. The humi is well stocked and well cared for. One of my favorite shops.

itsme_timd on 12/10/2009 4:01:47 PM
Tracy and Travis always take good care of me at Truly. The humi is well stocked and Tracy works hard to keep what his customers like and want. The lounge is smaller but very comfortable and there is a secondary area with a table and more seating. This is one of my favorite shops.

All round best of the best smokeshop.

This shop has a nice sized humi, very well stocked. Owner was very nice when I visited. They are located just across from the Peabody. I have a friend that lives in the area and it sounds like they also host a lot of events.

The location when they were on Newbury St. was better...too bad they moved to Boylston and they never had a cutting fee before...ridiculous. They would have gotten a 5 if they didn't charge fees.

I hosted nearly 25 smokers for a Northern Virginia Cigar Enthusiasts herf this past Tuesday at Hard Times in Fairfax. Plenty of room, excellent ventilation, good food and great prices. Highly recommended!

I left out some details. Hard Times smoking section is very sizable. They host a weekly poker torney, have a huge bar, multiple plasma tvs playing sports at all times, multiple pool tables and dart boards as well.

Be warned....... do not do business with Nick Torrijos.
He has a reputation for borrowing money then dissappearing. Bad moral character.

Guest on 5/6/2013 10:51:42 PM
Its been closed for some time now. I doubt anybody will see him soon, I hear he owes a lot of money.

Guest on 3/22/2013 1:08:12 AM
Hahaha I remember that place it was never open. Came in once, left after the owners lack of knowledge and stock turned me away.

Guest on 2/22/2013 1:06:22 AM
too bad too, that was a great shop before that guy came along. BTW I'm pretty sure nick is the one with the black boyfriend not Ashley. He's a nice guy too just stuck in a bad situation.

Guest on 1/23/2013 4:03:00 PM
Nick "whitford" Torrijos obviously was a poor business owner and lacked complete customer service, and dedication it takes to succeed. Not mention a weasel and a crook!
I hope the new lounge Redlands Cigar on Tennessee will flourish and and be able to provide a service and product, Nick's could not. Much good luck and blessings to you on the new venture!
But, to those who want to bash those not responsible, like Nick's Ex, are ignorant and lack moral character. Who or what she is doing is frankly no one's business and has nothing to do either business! Ashlie has moved on, and well should the rest of you!

Guest on 1/23/2013 3:31:52 PM
Meow, kitten! This is Ashlie, I just stumbled upon this website looking for info on the new cigar lounge in town. I'm not sure why I am so appalled by the last comment (I will take the black guy rumor over the ever popular lesbian rumor, thanks) but really? I understand the delicate issue of the money lost to Nick, trust me, if anyone understands that it is me, but please leave who I am currently being "pounded" by and Rob out of it.
I am happy for the new lounge owner, may much success come your way!

Guest on 1/21/2013 5:25:45 PM
New shop on Tennessee is amazing, selection is low, but still can get a padron, or tatauje . great lounge, what's makes it better, fat del taco rob no longer allowed, along with nick, who's ex' is getting pounded by some other guy now, heard he's black,

Used to like comming here when Tim #1 and Tim #2 ran it. Always had a good selection, was always full of people.its gone down hill since then. its almost impossible to find a day when there open, when you do, there's no stock and I would tend to agree, with other
Comments about the owners lack of grace and moral character. Don't waste your time

Is it normal to get one bad review and the 1 month later get 6 great reviews on the same day all with "Guest" and 1 with a user name?
Seems a little too coincidental to me. BTW my mother-in-law bought my Christmas present from Nick's and had no complaints...

When and where regarding a new lounge in Redlands?

Guest on 3/8/2012 9:57:58 AM
Nick's cigar nest is b/s, his ego an childish behavior along with greddy had ruined this fanatic cigar shop. Living off his girlfriend an mommy and daddy, an he still ran this cigar shop into the ground, not paying his agreements, etc, finally they are eviction has taken place for this kids. Even his own friends shop at other companies that shops because his selection is horrible, Goood to hear they're putting him out. What's great, a new lounge is opening in Redlands an him an his friends and family will no longer be welcomed.

Guest on 9/6/2011 1:28:32 AM
Hey there folks. I guess you should know me by Tim #1. I was just perusing the web to see how “Nick’s Cigar Nest” was doing. I was hoping he had his own website (I never got around to that). What I didn’t expect was the current owner to attack my reputation. Let’s set the record straight. Number one, Nick doesn’t know me. I bought "The Humidor" for the same reason that Bud built the store, out of a love of cigars. To quote Nick: "Tim the 1st bought The Humidor for tax purposes, owning a couple of sandwich shops as well, and put a lot of money into cigar stock. I remember him well, he did not prefer most customers to hang-out and he defiantly was not the friendliest guy either lol." "defiantly?" To my knowledge, I was the only owner at that location to buy a distributor license. He is right about one thing, I did pour a lot of money into cigar stock. I wanted to offer the best cigars possible along with the most choice in the Inland Empire. To a large extent, I believe I accomplished that. I paid $2K a year for a distributor license (out of my profit) to be able to offer cigars (legally) such as Padron, and La Flor Dominicana. Cigar brands you need a distributor license to bring in to California. As far as why I sold The Humidor, it's really simple. Yes, I owned a Subway in Redlands and ran a cigar store at the same time. I would work at my Subway until 1:30 pm and race over to The Humidor to open at 2 pm until close. A couple of years later, my wife and I had the opportunity to build a Subway in Highland (something we hadn't done yet), and something had to give. I sold the first Subway and ran The Humidor. Almost a year later made the decision to sell The Humidor. After almost three years of running The Humidor I needed a break before opening our new Subway. Running two businesses at once will wear you out and it did. I made decent money with The Humidor, and was profitable every year I owned it. There was no great tax advantage to owning The Humidor”. It was an inexpensive small business, that’s all. Our best year was our last when if you believe Nick I was busy alienating customers. As far as me not being likeable, or wanting people to hang out. I don't need to defend myself; I have many good friends today that were Humidor customers. Did every customer like me? Probably not, but so what. It's a shame that Nick's only answer to his weak product selection and high prices (from what I hear) is to attack previous owners. Yeah, that’s right, I sold better cigars and had lower prices. His narcissism comes though quite clearly as well by getting rid of a truly great cigar store name "The Humidor" and replacing it with his own.

Guest on 6/24/2011 4:55:45 PM
My name is Robert. A buddy and I went to check out Nick's to get a smoke. We where treated like friends right off the bat. I love a good cigar and am very selective with what I purchase. Two great recommendations where made & I enjoyed both. A party was going on in the back and the owner offered us some cake & ice cream. Ice cream and a cigar? Hell ya. Seriously, I've never had hospitality in a place of business like that. I've cut down and smoke once or twice a month now, but this place makes me want to up the frequency. I've returned a few times after that and received solid customer service every time.

Guest on 2/11/2011 10:07:41 PM
Did this place close? I have tried to call for a couple days and there has been no answer. Wanted to go check it out.

Guest on 1/26/2011 3:25:58 PM
Over the year's I've watched this cigar shop transition through various owners (Bud, Tim #1, Tim #2, Nick) and I've always enjoyed a fine cigar and good conversation while there. I first met Nick, when he was working for Tim #2, and my first impression of him was positive. He was helpful at the point of purchase, he made me feel comfortable (making me a cup of coffee). and was friendly throughout my visit. I am confident Nick will do well and Nick's Cigar Nest will continue to be enjoyed by cigar aficionado's who like to smoke in a friendly and comfortable lounge.

Hello my name is Nick, I am the owner of Nick's Cigar Nest. First I would like to thank the people that left comments about the shop, Thank You very much and I am honored that you enjoy this establishment so much. I plan on keeping you guys happy and anything I can do to make it a more enjoyable at the Nest just let me know.
I would like now to address the negative comment I received on 12/12/2010. First, to say I am "completely unable to run a business" is a non professional and biased input. Tim the 1st bought The Humidor for tax purposes, owning a couple of sandwich shops as well, and put a lot of money into cigar stock. I remember him well, he did not prefer most customers to hang-out and he defiantly was not the friendliest guy either lol. When the second Tim's girlfriend purchased The Humidor they had an over-flourished stock to start business with. I worked with the 2nd Tim for over about 2 years. Over time the stock went on a roller coster ride. Up and down, up and down until at last the stock fell on a downward spiral on a 8 month period. I took over the business right before the door were forced to close. I had enough money to buy the business, more than enough will power to re-gain the good will back and get the regulars back in the door. I was left with seven boxes of dud name cigars and a few boxes of more than half-empty decent label sticks. This is my first business and I jumped into someone else disaster with nothing but will power to fight to get the good will back into this establishment. I fought to get the guys that enjoyed this place so much back in the door and enjoy it once more. I fought, the disaster the previous owners left, that at one time a big group of guys consider this place a second home.... I got that back for them. I made it once again a comfortable and beautiful place to come and meet other cigar enthusiast. One of the reasons why I changed the name of the business is to get people back in the door and by what has been said to me it worked. At last, the most important and recognizable thing I hold different from the all the prior owners of this establishment is I Actually Know about cigars and pipes! I am Constantly educating myself and growing with the industries knowledge of cigars. Not only is this my hobby but it is a life style for me. I am Constantly educating myself and growing with industries knowledge of cigars.
Now on to the next item, the membership fee. This was brought to the table for the regular customers that come to the Nest and hang-out for long periods of time. They are the ones that thought it would be a good idea, they are the ones that wanted this action to take place. I have got nothing but complements about how the place looks now. Thank you by-the-way to all of you for that. The price of membership is lower than any cigar shop in California and a lot bigger room than any other shop in the area up to vegas, all for less than a dollar a day.
Now for my attitude... lol! If a person comes in my shop with a bad attitude and gives me crap for no apparent reason, they are going to get it right back Ten Times Full from me. Now if a costumer comes in with questions and concerns I will accommodate them to the best of my abilities. I take nothing but joy to help out and entertain my customers the best way I possibly can. Here is my guarantee on that; by reading this post, you come in to Nick's Cigar Shop to buy and if I am an any way "ruder than all get out" to you (mention this add) and I will buy you a box of cigars. No questions asked, no "yeah but" given. You walk with free box of cigars! Just don't come in with bad attitude and disrupt my customers is all I ask.
So for those of you that have nothing better to do at 1:00 am in the morning but be a troll, seek therapy. It is not my fault nor anyone one els that your parents did not teach you manners. Like, if you have nothing nice to say than keep your mouth shut. Comparing someone to Hitler is "ruder than all get out" and shows lack of class. And if there is a true problem at least have the backbone to post your name, man-up. All in all, if you are looking for Red Dots, Macandos or your ever-day punch smoke..... do us a favor and go to your local liquor store. Spare us the wanna be cigar aficionado act. If you want a Real smoke with a great atmosphere of cigar smokers, come on down. Mention this post and I will give you a free stick.
Thank You, and Hope to see you soon, Nicholas.

What to say about Nick's? Great selection of quality cigars, boutique brands too. Any shop can stock up on Rocky Patel and Punch cigars and most patrons wont know what they are missing. Nick's takes the time (and money) to stock his humidors with high quality cigars, prices are what they are they are not priced high, they are just higher priced cigars. He has $2 and $3 smokes and the higher end stuff. He also knows his stuff and is helpful he spent about 20 minutes the other night showing me and a buddy how to pack our pipes and get a good enjoyable smoke out of them. He also recommended some really good pipe tobacco. If you're in the area stop in I cant recommend this place enough! ~Scott Kiley www.CigarsBoozeAndReviews.com

I love Nick's Cigar Nest. It's a great place to hang out and enjoy quality sticks. You'll find some of the friendliest people here; very generous and fun-loving. Can't beat the atmosphere - Blu Ray movies, big screen tv, comfortable seating, well taken care of inventory, extremely knowledgeable owner, and made some quality friendships here. I really dig the Monday night bible study and the sports programming flows. Give it a try.

I have been coming to the nest since before it was the nest and since nick took it over it has done nothing but flourish. I have enjoyed all my time I spend here. I love spending my time off here, enjoying great priced sticks, relaxing in a welcoming atmosphere, and spending time with very nice people. This is a place everyone needs to come and enjoy.

I have been coming to nicks for a few months now and between the knowledge and hospitality I have never been to such a well balanced cigar shop! I will only buy my sticks from the best and as far as I'm concerned that's nicks.

Guest on 12/12/2010 1:02:14 AM
I knew of this place when it was called the Humidor under The first owner Tim the first. Alas all good things have to end. Tim the first sold to Tim the second who ran the shop well for six months before going on a very long drug binge. The second's owners girlfriend sold to Nick (of Nick's Cigar Nest) who is a totally and completely unable to run a business. The cigars are way overpriced, the stock is minuscule and the new owner is ruder then all get out. He has moved his lone remaining humidor space fifteen feet from the door and now regards the other 80% of the small store as "members only" $25 dollars a month fee. This place resembles nothing more then the Reichsbunker from the movie Downfall.
